Primary Objective:
We are seeking a dynamic Group Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead and shape the HR strategy across our mining group. This executive role is accountable for aligning HR with the companys vision, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving strategic initiatives in:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Alignment
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Group HR Strategy aligned with company objectives and values.
- Promote a people and culture strategy that fosters diversity, equity, and inclusion.
2. Change Management & Culture
- Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring alignment with company culture and values.
- Facilitate transparent communication and reinforce leadership capabilities during transitions.
3. Employee & Stakeholder Engagement
- Cultivate an engaged, collaborative workplace culture through proactive engagement initiatives.
- Partner with key stakeholders to build strong Group-wide talent pipelines.
4. Senior Talent & Succession Management
- Drive executive talent identification, development, and succession planning across Group companies.
- Oversee employer branding and candidate experience for attracting and retaining top-tier talent.
5. Learning & Development
- Design and execute a robust L&D strategy to close skill gaps and future-proof leadership.
- Champion a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and mentoring across the Group.
- Lead programs like the Explorer Program in collaboration with university partners.
6. Compensation & Benefits
- Benchmark compensation and benefits to ensure competitiveness and internal equity.
- Oversee salary administration, promotions, and performance-based rewards.
- Design effective incentive programs and communicate total rewards clearly to employees.
7. Performance Management
- Develop and implement performance frameworks and KPIs aligned with strategic objectives.
- Encourage continuous feedback, development planning, and employee recognition.
8. Commercial Mindset
- Align HR initiatives with business strategy to maximize performance and value creation.
- Foster a commercial mindset across the organization to support strategic growth.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Advanced HR certifications or MBA preferred.
Experience & Competencies:
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably with regional/international exposure.
- Proven track record in leading large-scale HR strategies and transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in talent management, learning & development, and performance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Business acumen with the ability to link HR initiatives to commercial outcomes.
- Experience in the mining or industrial sectors is advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
- Strong adaptability and resilience in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
