Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Hands-on field operations in the Grease Manufacturing Plant (GMP) and Utilities, including associated plant utilities and PCS Panel Operations.
2. Ensure production support by handling raw materials, batch processing, and filling of greases safely, compliantly, and efficiently, meeting all HSSE and product quality standards.
3. Support Grease Supervisor and Senior Grease Operator during abnormal operating conditions for intervention and corrective actions.
4. Lead and guide production support activities, ensuring compliance with GQS, Work Instructions, HSSE procedures, and other requirements.
5. Operate PCS and other equipment from the respective area and CCR as needed for timely responses.
6. Ensure correct weighing of raw materials and additives before introduction into the production process.
7. Execute production plans to meet schedule adherence with minimal disruptions.
8. Maintain compliance with the Method of Manufacture and accurately record batch process data.
9. Sample batches for QC and other inspections, performing Penetration and Grease Worker Tests to determine process adjustments.
10. Ensure proper shift handovers with documented information.
11. Operate GMP utilities such as hot oil, hot water, and cooling water systems.
12. Monitor consumables, replenish as needed, and manage additive tank levels.
13. Support minibulk service changes, line draining, and unloading of bulk raw materials.
14. Perform filling activities for drums, pails, or fluid bags, ensuring accurate usage and accounting of materials.
15. Conduct stock counts for raw and packaging materials.
16. Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area.
17. Coordinate with Maintenance for equipment servicing to minimize downtime.
18. Participate in safety walks, drills, and other HSSE activities.
19. Assist in developing and writing Work Instructions and SOPs; train and coach support staff.
20. Liaise with Laboratory for QC matters and sampling.
21. Report incidents and participate in root cause analysis for quality issues.
22. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Single production line with a capacity of 12,000 tons per annum.
• Utilities include boilers, water systems, fire water, and air compressors.
• Includes direct filling lines, hopper storage, and transfer lines.
• Supports 24/7 continuous operation with a 4G3S arrangement.
• Manufacturing involves complex, sensitive, and automated processes operated by PCS.
