Gaia Digital Agency in Ubud, Bali, is seeking a talented Graphic Designer / Video Editor to shape visual content across social, ads, decks, and branding. You will translate briefs into polished visuals and maintain a fast pace with quality at the forefront.
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva is preferred. Experience with AI tools such as Midjourney or Runway is a plus, enabling quicker ideation without sacrificing style.
Gaia Digital Agency is a full-service digital agency based in Ubud, Bali, with a team of 35+ across web development, SEO, social media, creative, and AI. Our clients are hotels, resorts, F&B brands, luxury lifestyle brands, and wellness and medical clients, most of them competing for attention against dozens of visually similar competitors. We are hiring a Designer to join our Creative team and help keep that bar high across everything we put in front of a client.
Your day to day will cover the full range of what a client needs to look good and consistent across channels: social media graphics, digital ad creative, presentation decks, print collateral, website assets, and branding materials. You will work from creative briefs, translate client and campaign direction into strong visual execution, and keep a fast pace without letting quality slip, since our clients are often running several campaigns and promotions at once.
Skills in animation and video editing are a real plus for this role, even if they are not the core of it. A growing share of what our hospitality and F&B clients need is short-form video, such as reels, guest experience content, and promotional clips, and a designer who can also cut a clean edit or add simple motion graphics gives us more flexibility without routing every small video task to a separate specialist. If you know your way around Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut, tell us, since it will shape what kind of work you get handed early on.
You should be confident in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, with InDesign for print and layout work. Comfort with Canva or similar tools for fast-turnaround social content is useful too, since not every deliverable needs a full Adobe workflow.
Experience generating imagery or video with AI tools, such as Midjourney, Runway, or similar, is a plus. We use these to move faster on ideation and certain deliverables without lowering the bar on quality, and a designer who already knows how to prompt, iterate, and clean up AI-generated output will fit into that workflow quickly.
You will work closely with our Creative Manager, who sets creative direction and reviews quality across the team, and with our Project Managers, who bring you onto whatever is active across our full client roster. This includes social media design needs as they come up day to day, alongside larger campaign, branding, and website asset work, so you will move between quick-turnaround social content and bigger projects depending on what is in the pipeline rather than owning one client in isolation.
If you are someone who can turn a rough brief into something that actually looks good, who pays attention to the small details that make a layout feel finished, and who is curious enough to pick up a video edit or a simple animation when the project calls for it, we would like to meet you.
