Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold is seeking a Graduate Data Geologist to manage geological data. The role requires a degree in Geology or related fields, with a focus on data validation and database management. Successful candidates will ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate with the Geoscience team to improve database systems.

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbkproduces metals and minerals that are essential for the advancement of human life. As an Indonesian metal and mineral mining holding company headquartered in Jakarta, Merdeka explores, extracts, and produces gold, silver, copper, and other minerals through subsidiaries spread across three islands in Indonesia. Merdeka also has a subsidiary in the field of mining construction services.

The two mining operations managed by Merdeka are theTujuh Bukit Gold Minein Banyuwangi, East Java; and theWetar Copper Mineon Wetar Island, Southwest Maluku.

Merdeka is developing several projects: theTujuh Bukit Copper Project, an underground copper mine in Banyuwangi, which is one of the largest undeveloped copper deposits in the world; and thePani Gold Projectin Gorontalo, Sulawesi, which will become one of the major primary gold mines in Indonesia.

We’re looking for:

Graduate Data Geologist (GDG)

Requirements:

• Minimum S-1 of Geology / Mining / IT.
• Having experience in the Geology/Mining industry is preferable.
• Having experience in database management is preferable.
• Having experience in SQL Server and/or programming language is a plus.
• Having experience with process mapping and documentation, workflow design and information tracking is a plus.
• Perform data management tasks as required, including data validation and running analysis routines.
• Provide updated and validated geological data and metadata to various Geoscience team members.
• Able to provide feedback for database system improvement.
• Able to comply with all Safety, Health, and Environment regulations of PT. MMS.
