Job description

Government Relations & Compliance Supervisor

Ensure compliance with licensing documentation for the MBAP Group, including regular legal audits and analysis of mandatory obligations for the Company and its Subsidiaries.

Regularly update relevant regulations related to MBAP Group's business activities, and socialize updates with relevant departments.

Maintain effective coordination with external parties, including central and local government agencies as needed.

Ensure licensing and compliance processes follow MBAP Group SOPs, with all documents available in softcopy and updated in the Legal Alert Monitoring System.

Coordinate regularly with relevant departments to ensure license compliance.

Understand legal procedures based on applicable laws and regulations.

Coordinate with the Corporate Legal SPV on compliance matters related to business development of the Company and its Subsidiaries.

Submit regular compliance reports for the Company and its Subsidiaries.

Review land/asset documents and maintain an updated document list for the MBAP Group.

Coordinate with the ISO team to ensure implementation of internal ISO programs across the Company and Subsidiaries.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Law.

5-7 years of experience in Govrel and Compliance in the natural resources sector, with prior experience as a SPV.

Strong commitment to work and high integrity.

Good knowledge of mining, renewable energy, environmental, and spatial planning regulations.

Familiar with licensing processes and reporting to relevant Ministries.

Experienced in handling legal documents and government audits (e.g., inspections by Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Audit Board, Ministry of Environment).

Able to develop regulatory advocacy strategies and negotiate company interests ethically and effectively.

Advocate license and corporate litigation experience are considered advantages.

Proficient in formal Bahasa Indonesia and active English skills, especially in reading international regulations.

Willing to travel regularly to mining sites.
