A leading education company in Indonesia is seeking a Government Relation professional to lead engagements with government entities. This pivotal role ensures compliance with regulations and enhances the company's operations in the education sector through strategic partnerships and active participation in policy discussions.
We are seeking a Government Relation to lead our engagement with government institutions at both central and regional levels. This role ensures that all company operations align with prevailing regulations, especially in the education and technology sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Establish, maintain, and grow strategic relationships with ministries, governmental agencies, and regional authorities.
Represent the company in policy discussions, coordination forums, and public affairs events.
Monitor changes in public policies and regulations that impact the company’s operations.
Provide strategic insights and policy recommendations to management.
Draft advocacy narratives and policy proposals aligned with the company's vision and mission.
Ensure all operational licenses and legal documents comply with relevant regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Product) to ensure business initiatives meet regulatory standards.
Act as a credible and diplomatic spokesperson of the company in interactions with government officials.
Prepare official communications, reports, and documentation related to strategic engagements.
Qualifications
Minimum age of 40 years.
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law, Political Science, Public Administration, International Relations, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in government relations or cross-sector public affairs.
Well-established and active network within key ministries, institutions, and local governments.
Excellent interpersonal communication and diplomatic skills.
Strong understanding of bureaucratic systems and government workflows.
Proficient in handling strategic documents and formal communication.
High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of internal and external information.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively across departments and with executive-level stakeholders.
