About the Role

The individual will support the work of the Head of Government Partnership, including project management, stakeholder management, identifying partnership opportunities, and internal collaboration.

The role of the Junior Manager will help bridge regulatory, policy, and practice, ensuring that government partnerships are well-informed, effective, and responsive to the needs of the government and community.

What you will do
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture partnerships with government agencies, officials, and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and communication.
  • Strategy Development: Create strategies to align organizational goals with government priorities, ensuring mutual benefits and support.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects involving government partnerships, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and regulatory compliance.
  • Policy Analysis: Monitor and analyze government policies and initiatives that could impact the organization, advising internal teams accordingly.
  • Advocacy: Represent the organization's interests in discussions with government officials, advocating for policies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify Opportunities: Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities through government sources to promote GoTo technology adoption.
  • Networking: Attend conferences, workshops, and events to network with government representatives and stay informed about relevant issues and opportunities.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure all partnership activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and prepare reports for stakeholders as required.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Politics, International Relations, or Economics from a reputable university; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in public policy and government relations, or sectors such as law firms, think tanks, journalism, civil society organizations, or government.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and independent project management capabilities.
