Job summary

Bumi Amartha Teknologi Mandiri is seeking a skilled middleware engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance middleware applications using Golang. You will design RESTful APIs, backend services, and integration components to enable reliable communication between systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience, preferably in Middleware, Backend, or System Integration.
• Strong Golang programming skills.
• Proven experience developing middleware applications, backend services, or integration solutions.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API and microservices architecture.
• Experience with system-to-system integration and API integration.
• Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, and API communication.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance middleware applications using Golang.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and integration components.
• Develop and maintain middleware services for integration between internal and external systems.
• Implement scalable, high-performance services using Golang and microservices.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into middleware and integration solutions.
• Integrate systems via REST API, HTTP/HTTPS, messaging, and other protocols.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize middleware applications and services.
• Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Work with databases to support data integration and backend services.
• Develop unit tests and perform integration testing for quality and stability.
• Collaborate with Backend Developers, System Analysts, DevOps, QA, and other teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Monitor and resolve issues in development, staging, and production environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for middleware services and APIs.
