Job summary

Steradian Data Optima is seeking a Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain secure backend services and APIs using Golang and PHP. You will integrate with REST, SOAP, and gRPC interfaces, implement Clean Architecture, and optimize database performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, SE, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional Backend Developer experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang, PHP for backend development.
• Solid understanding of API architectures: REST, SOAP, and gRPC.
• Experience in database performance tuning (indexing, partitioning, queries).
• Understanding synchronous and asynchronous processing; job schedulers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure, reliable backend applications and APIs.
• Develop and manage API integrations using REST, SOAP, and gRPC.
• Build backend solutions with Golang and PHP per best practices.
• Apply Clean Architecture for maintainability and scalability.
• Optimize database performance with indexing and query tuning.
• Develop and support event-driven architectures and CDC with Kafka Confluent.
• Write unit tests and ensure high quality code and security.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, analysts, and product owner.
