Gojek - Area Operations Associate

About The Role

Area Operations Associate is a role bridging the operational and analytical sides of the business. You need to understand problems and pain points from driver partners, and at the same time, translate driver insights into quantifiable metrics, validate, size, and prioritize problems to be solved.

What You Will Do

1. Coordinate warehouse, driver support units/walk-in centers in the area: onboarding, troubleshooting, attribute stock & selling, issue escalation
2. Conduct driver engagement through offline & online events, training, Swadaya programs (Gojek’s initiative to reduce driver expenses via partnerships), and control spending
3. Gather feedback from teams, driver partners & field staff, validate insights with data, and propose continuous improvements to the Area Operations Manager
4. Manage driver community and engage deeply with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
5. Conduct analysis and propose solutions to achieve business objectives or solve problems in your designated area
6. Oversee and manage team work and project management

What You Will Need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably from a multinational company
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and community management skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage team performance
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Intermediate spoken and written English skills

The Area Operations Associate is part of the Area Operations team within a designated city/area, working closely with the regional operations team to drive performance and growth. We engage extensively with driver partners to ensure smooth communication and address their needs. Our collaborative efforts aim to optimize results, improve user experience, and enhance overall regional performance.
