GM Technology - Digital Transformation Mining

International award-winning executive recruitment specialist Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of one of the biggest Mining Companies in Indonesia looking to onboard a GM of Technology. This job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the IT strategy to support business objectives and operational excellence.
2. Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize processes and enhance efficiency in mining operations.
3. Implement automation and smart mining technologies, including IoT, AI, and cloud solutions.
4. Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management to ensure security and reliability.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technology-driven solutions for improved productivity.
6. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments for cost efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
8. Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the IT team.
9. Stay up to date with emerging technologies to drive continuous innovation and improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 10+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably in the mining, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
3. Proven track record of leading digital transformation and automation projects.
4. Strong knowledge of mining technologies, including IoT, AI, automation, and cloud computing.
5. Experience in managing large-scale IT infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks.
6. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
7. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and drive innovation.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL are a plus.
