Michael Page is currently representing a distinguished client who is seeking an experienced Property Management General Manager to oversee the operations of one of Jakarta's premier office buildings. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage a high-profile asset in a dynamic market.

Job Description

• Oversee all aspects of day-to-day building operations, including maintenance, security, and overall functionality. Ensure that all services meet the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
• Develop and manage the property's operating budget, ensuring effective financial control and profitability. Provide timely financial reports, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures while optimizing revenue generation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, managing lease negotiations, renewals, and day-to-day concerns. Implement tenant retention strategies to maintain high occupancy levels and long-term tenant satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the property owner to develop and execute long-term asset enhancement strategies. Monitor market trends and provide recommendations for capital investments to maximize the building's value.
• Lead and manage a team of property management professionals, including engineers, security personnel, and administrative staff. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture.
• Oversee leasing activities, ensuring high occupancy rates. Implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants, working closely with brokers and leasing agents.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 10 years of experience in property and asset management, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role. Experience managing high-profile commercial office buildings is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., MRICS) will be considered an advantage.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
• Previous expatriate experience and a deep understanding of the Indonesian real estate market will be highly valued. The candidate must be willing to relocate to Indonesia.
