Job Description
Strategic Leadership & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company objectives, drive revenue growth, and expand market share within both the agricultural and construction machinery sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and product lines to diversify the company's portfolio and strengthen its competitive position across both segments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in both agricultural and construction sectors to inform strategic decisions.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, including sales, marketing, after-sales service, logistics, and administration, ensuring efficiency and productivity for both product lines.
- This individual will implement and maintain robust operational processes and procedures to optimize workflow and control costs.
Financial Management:
- Develop, manage, and monitor comprehensive budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
- Analyzing financial reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure profitability is a core duty.
Team Leadership & Human Resources:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversees recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes for all employees.
Stakeholder Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, enduring relationships with key stakeholders, including principals (international machinery manufacturers for both agricultural and construction equipment), customers, suppliers, government bodies, and industry associations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows relevant to both sectors.
- Ensuring effective communication channels are maintained across all internal and external parties is a critical function.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensuring all business operations comply with relevant Indonesian laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly those pertaining to import/export, distribution, and environmental protection across both agricultural and construction segments.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks to the business, including operational, financial, and reputational risks.
The Successful Applicant
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in a senior managerial or executive role is essential, preferably within the agricultural machinery, heavy equipment, construction equipment, or related distribution industry in Indonesia.
- A strong track record of successfully managing comprehensive business operations, driving growth, and achieving financial targets is expected.
- Excellent financial acumen with proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis is necessary.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are fundamental.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans effectively is a key requirement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making, are crucial.
- Proficiency in relevant business software and an understanding of digital transformation initiatives is desirable.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken) is required. Mandarin is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required for the role.
