Job summary

OSI Electronics seeks a Trade Compliance Analyst to provide analytical and administrative support for the Trade Compliance Program. You will help ensure compliance with export/import controls, customs laws, and sanctions across multiple regions.

You will screen denied party transactions, maintain records, and coordinate with HR to uphold Technology Control Plans. Strong regulatory knowledge and communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in business administration or related field highly desired.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with focus on Trade Compliance desired.
• Knowledge of U.S. Trade Regulations (ITAR, EAR, OFAC, Customs) and APAC regulations strongly desired.
• Experience interfacing with Government agencies (e.g., DOS, DOC, Customs, MITI, MTI, Ministry of Trade) desired.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CoPilot preferred.
• Must have strong analytical and organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and administrative support for the Trade Compliance Program.
• Ensure the business stays compliant with export and import controls, customs laws, and sanctions.
• Prepare, submit, and maintain government authorizations as needed.
• Screen and resolve restricted/denied party screening transactions using a third-party tool.
• Maintain records of Trade Compliance transactions and ensure proper data entry and documentation.
• Review various transactions for accuracy and compliance, including end user statements and export documentation.
• Coordinate with HR to maintain Technology Control Plans for sites and employees.
• Evaluate product information for jurisdiction, classification, and tariff details.
• Coordinate transfers of items/data/software to comply with export laws and company policies.
• Support automation projects and provide training on Trade Compliance processes.
