Description and Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. Develop assembly technology including SMT and Final assembly & packing to improve quality, reduce costs, and shorten lead times.
  2. Develop the manufacturing technology roadmap to enable manufacturing capabilities supporting business needs. Ensure new technology readiness, including equipment, processes, and personnel competence.
  3. Collaborate with other engineering teams to harmonize assembly processes through systematic standards.
  4. Establish networks from a manufacturing engineering perspective, share best practices, and implement smart copying across different sites. Lead activities within the manufacturing community and share the technical roadmap network.
  5. Analyze manufacturing value-added rate and lead cost reduction initiatives from an end-to-end perspective.
  6. Lead manufacturing technical innovations and the implementation of advanced technologies. Develop new tech and processes to solve complex problems as a manufacturing expert.
  7. Manage complex/significant projects; develop project management strategies and plans; optimize resources for better project execution.
