Baker Hughes in Balikpapan, Indonesia is seeking a Field Specialist - Wellbore Intervention to lead on-site applications and provide expert field support. You will work with customers to install, maintain, and plan Wellbore Intervention products, ensuring high safety and quality on every operation.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience in Wellbore Intervention, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage complex field issues across various rigs, with a focus on safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience as Field Specialist in Wellbore Intervention (Fishing, Casing Exits, Wellbore Cleanup and Thru-Tubing Fishing)
• Strong mechanical understanding and application proficiency with Wellbore Intervention products
• Drilling, completion techniques, and rig operations experience on land and semi-submersible rigs

Responsibilities

• Run Wellbore Intervention applications in the assigned district ensuring equipment compatibility
• Provide field support to customers and complete paperwork accurately
• Advise and troubleshoot on complex Wellbore Intervention issues
• Apply technical knowledge to ensure high quality products and services
• Ensure activities comply with HSE policies and legal requirements
• Coordinate with vendors, field teams and customers for liquid shipments and port operations

Description

• Receive review, and process inquiry or shipping instruction from customer/sales/overseas
• Checking cargo data and CIPL for both international and domestic shipment
• Arrange moda transportation and communication with vendor
• Direct monitoring for loading/unloading cargo for every shipment
• Ensure every loading/unloading are conducted safely and according to customer and Indonesia's law and regulations
• Provide daily report to customers and do daily monitoring with communication with vendor.
• For Liquid shipment from Halliburton: do coordination with vendor, surveyor, field team at port of loading, field team at port of discharge, and give report to Halliburton
• Direct monitoring for all activity in field for Halliburton's liquid shipment.
• Review import HBL (House Bill of Lading), MBL (Master Bill of Lading) & CIPL (Commercial Invoice & Packing List Docs) from origin office
• Seek approval draft HBL from the consignee
• Confirm & receive pre-alert on Kewill properly
• Send pre-alert document to consignee
• Prepare and pickup custom document from the consignee
• Request draft PIB (Import Declaration) to PPJK
• Sending draft PIB (Import Declaration) to the consignee for approval
• Update the POD on Kewill system properly
• Monitor custom clearance process with custom clearance officer
• Update custom process to the consignee regularly
• Arrange trucking once shipment released/SPPB
• Sending original invoice and supporting documents to customers.
• Help implement Quality, Health, Safety and Environment objectives set up specific for the branch and its operational basis.

As a Field Specialist - Wellbore Intervention, you will be responsible for:

• Running Wellbore Intervention applications in assigned district ensuring supplied equipment compatible with all equipment used for job
• Applying expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Wellbore Intervention and other product groups
• Providing field support to customers and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job
• Advising and troubleshooting on the most complex and critical issues in Wellbore Intervention in the district
• Applying technical knowledge and experience to ensure the products and services are of the highest quality
• Conducting business activities in accordance with HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have more than 6 year's experience as Field Specialist in Wellbore Intervention (Fishing, Casing Exits, Wellbore Cleanup and Thru-Tubing Fishing)
• Have a good understanding of mechanical and application proficiency with Wellbore Intervention products or other product groups
• Demonstrate expertise and hand-on experience of drilling, completion techniques, drilling/workover rig operations on land and semi-submersible rigs
• Be a good team player and display good communication skills
• Be willing to work on various rotational schedules
