Job description

PT Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (Company) was incorporated in 1990 and started its operations in coal trading activities. As it develops its business, the company continues to augment its capacity and improve its mining infrastructure for its subsidiary and to support operations in its mine sites. In 2011, the Company began to produce its own coal in the Production Operation Mining Permit (IUP OP) area, namely at Loa Janan, Kutai Kartanegara, East Kalimantan.

The Company then entered into a strategic partnership with The Tata Power Limited, the largest integrated power company in India, in 2012. This cooperation was made to support the Company’s mining infrastructure development, including improving loading conveyor and floating crane facilities and installing new crushers. This year also marked the Company’s move to conduct its initial public offering at the Indonesia Stock Exchange with ticker code BSSR.

Our subsidiaries, PT Antang Gunung Meratus (AGM), owns a Coal Mining Business Permit based on Coal Mining Contract of Work (CCoW) 2nd generation, with mining areas of 22,433 Ha at Tapin, South Kalimantan. AGM started its production in 1999, and currently, the Company’s ownership in AGM is 100% minus 1 share.

Geotechnical Engineer

Requirements:

1. Min. Bachelor Degree in Geology, Civil, or Mining Engineering from a reputable university.
2. Have 5-6 years of working experience related to Geotechnical in open pit coal mines.
3. Strong background in data parameter interpretation.
4. Expertise in using Geotechnical and Mining Software such as Minescape, Dips, AutoCAD, Slide, Slide2, Phase2, RS, Plaxis, etc.
5. Abilities in using Geotechnical radar.
6. Experience in Civil Geotechnical, Hydrology, and Hydrogeology.
7. Having a POP Certificate is preferable.
8. Possess a driving license (SIM A).
9. Fluent in both spoken and written English is preferable.
10. Location: South Kalimantan.
11. 8-2 roster for this position.
