General Manager Technology

General Manager - Technology (Jakarta, Indonesia)

Our client is an international mining conglomerate and they are looking for a General Manager- Technology to join their team. Based in Jakarta, this position will oversee technology requirements of their large mining operations across multiple mining sites in Indonesia and Australia. The individual will be responsible for end to end technology infrastructure of the company, leveraging off world class tech solutions

Experience

• At least 15 years experience with international mining companies or large conglomerates / large startups in managing end to end technology across infrastructure, security, ERP, leveraging off best in class tech solutions using predictive and preventive solutions using data and AI
• Bachelors degree preferably in engineering or computer science, MBA would be an advantage
• Proven experience in managing tech infrastructure of large conglomerates/ or large technology startups, managing stakeholders and large diverse teams
• Experience in digital transformation of mining operations, experience in tech product development
• Worked with in house and external vendors and consultants to develop and install predictive and preventive technical solutions. Understanding and leveraging data off these solutions.
