General Manager Operations PT. BUANA SANDANG INDONESIA (Kudus, Central Java)

PT. BUANA SANDANG INDONESIA (located in Kudus, Central Java) is seeking a dynamic, results-driven General Manager Operations to join our growing team. The successful candidate will oversee strategy, execution, and performance, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and passionate about building brands, driving growth, and delivering measurable results.

The role involves leading all aspects of garment manufacturing operations, ensuring achievement of sales targets, setting marketing strategies, managing productivity, quality, cost-efficiency, budgeting, and compliance with standards, laws, and company policies.

Responsibilities

1. Operational Oversight: Manage end-to-end garment production (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing).
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed targets; identify new markets and clients domestically and internationally.
3. Customer Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients; lead and motivate the sales team.
4. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate sales contracts, pricing, and terms; manage client agreements.
5. Production Strategic Planning: Develop production strategies and improve processes; lead production teams.
6. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Implement quality standards; ensure safety and certification compliance.
7. Cost Management: Monitor budgets; analyze costs; optimize resources.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with planning, procurement, and maintenance teams.
9. Reporting to Directors: Present performance reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in garment production; 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Experience with export-oriented operations.
• Willing to be based in Kudus, Central Java.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in garment, textile, or apparel industries.
• Knowledge of garment processes, ERP systems, and production planning.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
• Understanding of garment products, pricing, and supply chain concepts.
• Problem-solving mindset with customer-oriented approach.
