PERSOL Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in Heavy Equipment/Construction company in finding great talent as a General Manager with the requirement as follows:
Job Responsibilities
- Direct and motivate the management team and employees to build a supportive, efficient, and high-performance workplace.
- Ensure smooth coordination and collaboration across all departments.
- Design and execute both short-term and long-term business plans aimed at boosting sales performance, profitability, and market presence.
- Supervise day-to-day business operations, including equipment maintenance, logistics, delivery processes, and customer service, to ensure optimal efficiency and service quality.
- Explore and develop new business opportunities, strengthen relationships with key clients, and lead the planning and execution of sales and marketing initiatives.
- Control budgets, track financial outcomes, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational effectiveness and product/service quality.
- Partner with the HR team to attract, develop, and assess talent. Promote adherence to company policies and cultivate a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential operational, financial, and legal risks. Ensure all business activities comply with relevant laws, standards, and company regulations.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive performance reports to the Board of Directors, highlighting key results, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical), Business Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 – 10 years of managerial experience in the heavy equipment rental, construction, or related industry.
- Proven track record in leading large teams, managing P&L, and driving strategic business growth.
- Strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, maintenance, and industry trends.
