About the role
We are looking for an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead our operations and drive the growth of PT. GPS FREIGHT SERVICES' in North Jakarta, Jakarta. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including financial management, operational efficiency, and team leadership. This is a full-time, in-office role based in North Jakarta, Jakarta.
What you'll be doing
Provide overall strategic direction and leadership for the business to achieve short and long-term goals
Manage the day-to-day operations of the business, including budgeting, resource allocation, and process improvement
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
Represent the company externally and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Regularly report on the company's performance and provide recommendations for strategic decisions
What we're looking for
Extensive experience (8+ years) in a general management or senior leadership role, preferably within the CEO & General Management industry
Proven track record of successfully leading and growing a business, with a strong understanding of operational and financial management
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Demonstrable strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal
