About the role
We are seeking an experienced General Laboratory Manager to join our team at PT Snf Polymers Indonesia in Tangerang Banten to lead our laboratory operations and drive continuous improvement. In this role, you will oversee technical teams responsible for production monitoring, formulation management, raw material qualification, and quality control. You will ensure compliance with GLP and QA/QC standards, support production with troubleshooting and staff training, and maintain effective coordination with cross-functional teams such as Production, Planning, Supply Chain, and Commercial. This position also involves managing resources, evaluating team performance, and addressing customer complaints to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

• Supervise and coordinate laboratory teams across production monitoring, formulation management, and raw material tracking.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and support production with troubleshooting and formulation adjustments.
• Act as a liaison between internal departments, subsidiaries, and sales teams for technical support and customer requests.
• Evaluate team performance, manage resources effectively, and define action plans based on priorities.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Commercial, Supply Chain, and other departments.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure proper follow-up.

Qualification

• 3+ years of experience in a laboratory management role, preferably in the science and technology or polymer manufacturing industry
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience in an industrial laboratory (polymer/chemical field preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HPLC, GC, Viscometer, and other lab techniques.
• Solid understanding of GLP and QA/QC systems.
• Experienced in leading teams, managing schedules, and evaluating performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication for cross-department collaboration.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a leadership mindset.
