About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Cleaning & Service Professional to join our team on a full-time basis at our South Kuta, Bali location. This role is essential to maintaining the exceptional standards our guests expect. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of our establishment are impeccably clean, well-organised and welcoming. Your work will directly contribute to creating a positive guest experience and upholding our reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all guest-facing areas, including rooms, bathrooms, common spaces and service areas
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with established cleaning protocols and health and safety regulations
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly deep cleaning tasks as assigned
• Empty and replace waste bins, ensuring proper waste disposal and recycling procedures
• Dust, vacuum and mop all designated areas, paying particular attention to detail
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, linens and other essentials
• Report any maintenance issues, damaged fixtures or areas requiring repair to management
• Assist with laundry services including washing, drying and folding linens and towels
• Support special cleaning projects and seasonal deep cleans as required
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery
• Uphold professional standards and represent Dharma Uluwatu positively at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in general cleaning and housekeeping services within a hospitality, hotel or similar environment
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistently high standards
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently without supervision
• Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including bending, lifting and repetitive motions
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment and sanitisation procedures
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining consistent attendance
• Respectful, courteous and professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to take initiative and contribute to team objectives
• Basic understanding of health and safety standards in cleaning and hospitality environments
• Preferably, previous experience in a luxury hospitality setting or similar premium establishment
• Physical fitness to handle the demanding nature of cleaning work
