Job summary

RGE Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in the GCC region, focusing on installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of industrial instrumentation and control systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or equivalent in Instrumentation/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of process instrumentation, and PLC/DCS troubleshooting skills. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of Instrument Technician experience, GCC preferred.
Knowledge of process instrumentation: pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytics.
Experience with PLC/DCS troubleshooting and field devices.

Responsibilities

Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair instrumentation, including transmitters, sensors, and analyzers.
Read drawings, P&IDs, and instrument loop diagrams.
Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system failures and diagnose root causes.
Document maintenance activities and test results.
Support commissioning and start-up activities.
Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
