Job Description

• The Galley Utility cleans and maintains the galley daily, following Viking’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the onboard cleaning schedule.
• Handle all cleaning materials, chemicals, and machinery necessary for daily operations.
• Ensure equipment loss and damage are minimized; report damages to the Head Cleaner.

Job Requirements

• Must be physically fit, in good health, with no record of medical problems, drug addiction, or alcoholism.
• Fluent in English; excellent communication skills required. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience and/or training in hospitality preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (30 kg) daily and work at least ten hours per day, seven days a week. Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Minimum of 1 year cruise ship or 2 years in 5-star hospitality as a galley utility.
