Job summary

Buddhidharma seeks an expert Remote Data Privacy Lawyer to lead global data protection initiatives. This fully remote role ensures compliance with GDPR, UU PDP, and other privacy regulations across the company.

You will develop privacy policies, conduct DPIAs/PIAs, handle data subject requests, advise on data handling, and train staff. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in privacy law and proven experience with international teams. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Law degree with specialization in data privacy.
• Minimum 5 years of data privacy compliance experience.
• Knowledge of GDPR, UU PDP, and global privacy regulations.
• Experience drafting notices, consent forms, and DPAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data privacy policies.
• Conduct DPIAs and PIAs for projects.
• Manage data subject access requests and breach notifications.
• Advise on data processing activities and data handling.
• Provide privacy training and liaise with authorities.
