IBMC is seeking a strategic Fullstack Ecommerce Developer to join a high-growth digital commerce firm focused on building scalable, high-conversion Shopify stores. You will own the technical roadmap, delivering fast, secure storefronts and robust integrations across ERP, CRM, and PIM systems.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in Shopify, Liquid, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern frontend/backend stacks (React + TypeScript + Node.js).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer with a Shopify focus.
• Deep Shopify mastery: Liquid, REST & GraphQL APIs, and theme architecture.

IBMC is assisting a high-growth digital commerce firm in hiring a strategic Fullstack Ecommerce Developer. Our client specializes in building and scaling high-performance global brands using cutting-edge technology. We pride ourselves on delivering seamless, "pixel-perfect" shopping experiences that bridge the gap between innovative design and robust technical architecture.

We are looking for a talented Fullstack Ecommerce Developer with deep expertise in the Shopify ecosystem. You will play a key role in building, optimizing, and scaling high-conversion stores—from custom theme development to complex backend integrations and headless commerce architectures. This is a hands-on role where you will own the technical roadmap of the digital storefront, ensuring speed, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Custom Solutions: Build custom Shopify apps and seamless integrations with third-party services (ERP, CRM, PIM, and payment gateways).
• Headless Commerce: Implement and optimize headless architectures using Hydrogen + Remix/Oxygen or custom Next.js solutions.
• Backend Architecture: Develop robust backend solutions and middleware using Node.js or Ruby on Rails for complex data processing and webhooks.
• Performance Optimization: Lead the charge on Core Web Vitals, SEO technical health, and overall conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Designers and Marketers to transform creative concepts into functional, high-performing digital products.
• Technical Quality: Maintain clean, reusable codebases and comprehensive documentation to support long-term scalability.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Developer with a primary focus on the Shopify platform.
• Shopify Mastery: Deep expertise in Liquid, Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL), and Shopify Theme architecture.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js. Experience with Next.js or Hydrogen is highly preferred.
• Checkout Customization: Knowledge of Checkout Extensibility and Shopify Functions is a significant plus.
• Integrations: Proven track record of integrating external systems via APIs and managing complex webhooks.
• DevOps: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
• Language: Good command of English (written and spoken) for technical collaboration.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with international ecommerce (multi-currency/language compliance).
• Familiarity with the Shopify app ecosystem (Klaviyo, Gorgias, PageFly).
