Tirta Data Strategis (TDS) is hiring a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Media Analyst to monitor and analyze traditional and digital media. The role involves tracking breaking news, identifying trends and public sentiment, and turning findings into evidence-based analysis and engaging social media content, especially Instagram carousels. The Media Analyst will also support public opinion research and strategic insights for communication, policy, and stakeholder engagement.
Monitor and analyze news coverage from local and international media outlets.
Identify emerging issues, long-term trends, and key narratives across politics, economics, public policy, business, technology, and social issues.
Conduct media monitoring across print, online, broadcast, and social media platforms.
Prepare concise, objective, and data-driven media analyses and reports.
Identify relevant public discussions and report significant developments in a timely manner.
Conduct fact-checking and verify information using credible sources such as government publications, official reports, academic journals, and trusted databases.
Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure analytical findings are communicated effectively.
Support public opinion and communication research by providing media insights and environmental analyses.
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, or other related disciplines.
2-5 years of experience in media analysis, journalism, policy research, strategic communications, content research, or a similar analytical role.
Strong understanding of Indonesian and international media landscapes.
Excellent analytical thinking and research skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent writing and communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
