Job description

Company

The history of the Maison Sozio goes back to one of the very first families of perfumers in Grasse, having been at the origin of the community of glove-makers and perfumers.

With the integration of Synarome in 2021, Sozio ties back to its legacy by returning to its initial activity : raw materials. This acquisition enhances Sozio perfumers’ palette of premium ingredients – both synthetic and natural – and iconic specialties such as Ambrarome and Animalis.

With these generations of learning and knowledge, an expertise in natural fragrances and an international presence, Sozio has become a key player in the perfumery landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and co-ordinate briefs and recommend fragrance direction either from the existing libraries or creative submissions involving Perfumery.
  • Set up priorities and action plans to effectively manage clients’ briefs.
  • Organize evaluation sessions and panel tests; evaluate & critique perfume submissions; provide feedback to Sales and Perfumers.
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, Laboratories, Regulatory and R & D departments on specific needs of briefs.
  • Participate with Sales in client meetings as required.
  • Keep up to date with new fragrances, market products and trends including store checks and attending exhibitions.
  • Maintain the Internal Fragrance library to ensure that it is line with the market trends.

Requirements:

  • Excellent olfactory skills
  • Good IT Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated and able to work pro-actively.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in Fragrance Evaluation, with the knowledge of all aspects of the Evaluation process.

This is a permanent role that offers an attractive salary and benefits. Ideal candidate will have the opportunity to grow with an internationally recognized company.
