Job description

We are a Foundry-Manufacturing Company, currently growing and seeking talent to progress together.

Main Accountability

1. Optimizing production methods: Analyzing casting designs and specifications to determine the most effective production techniques.
2. Improving existing processes: Redesigning or making enhancements to older foundries to boost productivity and efficiency.
3. Overseeing foundry operations: Supervising daily activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and coordinating the foundry team.
4. Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues that may affect the quality, productivity, or cost of castings.
5. Quality control: Implementing and maintaining measures to ensure high-quality standards in metal casting.
6. Research and development: Investigating new casting materials, methods, and technologies.
7. Equipment maintenance: Monitoring and maintaining foundry equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
8. Collaboration: Working with design, production, and quality assurance departments, as well as suppliers and customers.
9. Training: Providing technical support and training to foundry personnel.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Foundry Engineering
• Ability to communicate in English is required.
• Ability to document and present key messages to a wide group of target audiences, including written reports.
