Foundry Engineer & Machining Engineer
Foundry Engineer & Machining Engineer
PT Zenith Allmart Precisindo is a leading manufacturer of precision stainless steel investment castings and CNC-machined components, serving global clients across the automotive, industrial, medical, and energy sectors. We specialize in producing high-tolerance, high-performance metal parts, backed by strong in-house engineering, metallurgy expertise, and lean production systems.
As we continue to expand our operations and technical capacity, we are currently looking for two key engineering roles to join our growing team:
1. Foundry Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize the investment casting process: from wax injection to shell building, melting, and pouring.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure metallurgical quality and casting integrity.
- Analyze and troubleshoot casting defects (e.g., shrinkage, cold shuts, porosity).
- Support R&D and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Collaborate with quality, tooling, and production teams to resolve foundry issues and improve process capability.
- Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards in foundry operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in investment casting.
- Familiar with stainless steel grades, especially austenitic, duplex, and martensitic.
- Understanding of shell chemistry, solidification, and heat treatment.
- Experience using simulation tools like Magmasoft/ProCAST is a plus.
2. Machining Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize machining processes for precision components, focusing on CNC milling, turning, and drilling operations.
- Select cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding methods for optimal productivity and part quality.
- Create and modify CNC programs (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, or Siemens controllers).
- Analyze dimensional issues and apply root cause analysis for defect prevention.
- Lead productivity improvements, cycle time reduction, and cost control initiatives.
- Coordinate with QA and foundry teams to ensure seamless post-casting machining integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining or precision engineering.
- Strong grasp of GD&T, cutting conditions, and stainless steel machining.
- Proficient with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
- Good analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
