A leading international hospitality brand in Jakarta is seeking a Sales and Business Development professional to drive revenue growth in F&B outlets and manage client relationships. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, a passion for hospitality, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Proactively monitor and analyze competitor activities to identify market trends and opportunities
Develop and maintain a robust database of social events, corporate functions, and potential hamper clients
Strategically grow sales for F&B outlets (restaurant, bar, lounge) and banquet/events
Conduct regular market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the F&B industry
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to increase revenue across all F&B channels
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain excellent relationships with existing corporate and individual clients
Develop and implement a client retention program to ensure long-term loyalty
Conduct regular client satisfaction surveys and address any concerns promptly
Create personalized experiences for VIP clients to enhance their loyalty and increase repeat business
Event Coordination:
Liaise with clients on event requirements, from menu selection to venue setup and special requests
Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus that meet client preferences and dietary requirements
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of events
Conduct post-event evaluations and implement improvements based on feedback
Revenue & Target Achievement:
Meet and exceed monthly and yearly revenue targets set by the Assistant DOFB
Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure consistent revenue growth
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue per client
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Participate in weekly sales meetings and brainstorming sessions with marketing for F&B campaigns
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotional materials and campaigns
Work closely with the operations team to ensure alignment between sales promises and service delivery
Contribute to the development of annual business plans and budgets for the F&B department
Industry Knowledge & Professional Development:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics
Attend relevant trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to expand professional network and gather market intelligence
Continuously enhance product knowledge of F&B offerings, including menu items, wine lists, and special promotions
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in F&B or event sales, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
Strong knowledge of Jakarta’s corporate and social event market is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written.
Well-groomed, dynamic, and client-focused with a passion for hospitality.
