About The Role

The role will run the day-to-day sales operation for B2B Indonesia, working internally with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include

  1. This role requires an ambitious and self-driven individual to seek new customers and explore new markets in Indonesia.
  2. Develop new customers, products, and markets; maximize volumes, sales margins, and customer profitability.
  3. Gather and analyze Market Intelligence.
  4. Assist with Customer Service by following up on the delivery of goods and Accounts Receivable (A/R) management.
  5. Provide input to marketing and product development teams regarding new products and competitors' offerings.
  6. Produce timely and accurate reports on business activities.
  7. Target markets include: Industrial bakery, Confectionery, Ice Cream, and Dairy.
  8. Travel requirements: up to 60% travel expected.

About You

  1. Bachelor's degree, preferably in a science or food technology background.
  2. 5-8 years of B2B sales experience in Ingredients within the food industry.
  3. Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams (R&D, Finance, Supply Chain) and external stakeholders.
  4. Strong understanding of trends and market updates in the Indonesian food industry.
  5. Experience in B2B sales of food ingredients, especially for confectionery, ice cream, and biscuit snacks.
  6. Proficient in English (written and verbal) and Mandarin (written and verbal).
  7. Skilled in Google tools and MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  8. Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and accountable with a proactive attitude.
  9. Adaptable and responsive to changing environments.
  10. Team-oriented with project management capabilities.
