OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for an experienced mobile developer specializing in Flutter to help us rebuild several mobile apps. One of these apps has about 200K downloads; the others are mainly internal support apps (one has already been rebuilt using Flutter).

We have backend applications that you'll help build and maintain, such as our Membership Admin app (built in Kotlin, now migrating to Flutter) and our internal “Information Center” app, which functions as a mobile version of our intranet’s primary features (built in Flutter).

Our backend developers will provide APIs for database communication, but familiarity with backend development processes would be beneficial.

SKILLSETS WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 1 year of experience building an app with Flutter.
• At least 3 years of experience developing mobile apps in Kotlin, Java, Swift, or Flutter.
• Extensive experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Experience with GraphQL is a big plus.
• Experience with push notifications via Firebase.
• Some experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, CloudFront, and S3 is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in English (medium level) is required.
• Good sense of UI design to create simple and intuitive interfaces, working with in-house graphic designers.
• Experience with automated testing of mobile apps is a plus.
• Comfortable using git for version control.
