Job Description

As the Floating Infrastructure Engineering Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and execution of offshore floating projects, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with operational goals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading the engineering design, analysis, and optimization of floating structures, including FPSOs, FLNGs, and other offshore facilities.
  • Managing multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Ensuring compliance with international safety, environmental, and engineering standards, including API, ISO, and ABS requirements.
  • Conducting feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and risk assessments for offshore projects.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the lifecycle of floating infrastructure projects, from concept to commissioning.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing quality assurance protocols to meet performance objectives.
  • Staying updated on advancements in offshore engineering technologies and integrating innovative solutions into project designs.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • At least 15 years of experience in offshore oil and gas infrastructure, with a focus on floating structures such as FPSOs and FLNGs.
  • Strong understanding of offshore engineering design codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing large-scale offshore projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
