A logistics and transportation company based in East Jakarta is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3-5 years in heavy vehicle maintenance. Key responsibilities include leading a team of mechanics, managing workshop costs, and ensuring operational efficiency. Immediate availability is preferred.
Minimum education of Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, or related fields.
At least 3–5 years of work experience in heavy vehicle maintenance (trucks, trailers, etc.), preferably as a Workshop Manager or Head, ideally in the transportation and logistics industry.
Capable of leading and managing a team of mechanics, including conducting training sessions and regular performance evaluations.
Strong leadership and managerial skills.
Excellent communication and analytical thinking abilities.
Skilled in cost analysis and driving operational efficiency in the workshop.
Detail-oriented, assertive, and able to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
Able to plan and schedule routine maintenance and vehicle repairs effectively.
Experienced in budgeting, spare parts usage efficiency, and controlling operational workshop costs.
Capable of managing spare parts inventory, handling procurement requests, and coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiar with preparing regular reports such as vehicle downtime, spare part usage, and overall workshop performance.
Proficient in using fleet or workshop management software (Fleet Management System).
Willing to be placed in East Jakarta.
Ready to join immediately (ASAP).
