Flavour Technician (contract-based) in Indonesia - Your future position?

Being a Flavour Technician at Givaudan, a company leader in the fragrance and flavour industry, you will follow established procedures and guidelines to prepare seasoning samples and participate in seasoning evaluations and testing, supporting the application process according to team goals and EH&S policies. You will be located in Jakarta, and in this exciting role you will:

• Prepare seasoning samples as requested for customer briefs, application needs, technology performance assessments, QC standards, physical testing, etc.
• Be a main contact to provide seasoning samples for other labs and functions within Givaudan
• Maintain all required formula records and brief documentation in company database software (Athena, Atlas, Lot Number records, etc.)
• Maintain organized and updated stock of raw materials in the Laboratory
• Maintain organized collection of seasonings in the lab for immediate response to briefs and application requests
• Help apply seasonings to food products when assigned
• Participate in the evaluation of seasonings in food products and provide seasoning performance feedback
• Maintain a clean laboratory environment following EH&S policies and good laboratory practices

Your professional profile includes:

• High school diploma in Chemistry with 5 years' experience in a lab
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science with 2 years' experience in a food applications lab
• Experience with lab equipment and handling chemicals used to perform lab functions
• Basic understanding of research documentation protocols and safety procedures
