IFF is a global leader in Food Ingredients and Flavors, constantly seeking new challenges and developing innovative solutions. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Indonesia Commercial team as a Flavor Product Manager.

Your Focus

As a Flavor Product Manager, you will support key opportunities to bring flavors’ new technology to market and serve as the voice of markets to communicate country needs, priorities, and market opportunities. You will also be a cross-functional and influential leader, inspiring other functions in the sub-region/country.

How You Will Contribute

  • Drive the Platform agenda within Category Teams to maximize value for the platform across initiatives.
  • Manage product portfolios within sub-regions/countries, optimize product mix, and develop pricing strategies to maximize IFF value.
  • Strengthen IFF's leadership position in Flavours within the sub-region/country, aligning with global and regional strategies.
  • Develop and share market intelligence on competitors, markets, consumers, and technology through interactions with customers and industry networks to drive competitive advantage.
  • Contribute to annual category strategy development.
  • Participate in annual Account Plan reviews with the regional commercial team to set relevant targets for platform success.
  • Monitor IFF's preferred partner positions within the customer network to ensure access to flavor opportunities and optimal ROI.
  • Coordinate and promote training to ensure account managers are knowledgeable about the latest flavor, color, and seasoning technologies, and are familiar with initiatives like Re-Imagine and Re-Master, enabling them to identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing input on monthly platform sales forecasts, working with local commercial teams and conducting quarterly reviews and budget planning.
  • Monitor customer sales performance at the sub-regional/country level and update management on strategic projects.
  • Support and guide pricing strategies, including adjustments and increases aligned with global/regional policies.
  • Understand economic scenarios and raw material price fluctuations to establish effective pricing support strategies.
  • Manage sales revenue, profitability, strategy, and competitive positioning for relevant flavor product lines in the sub-region/country.
  • Implement differentiation strategies to grow market share and profitability.
  • Translate value propositions into market opportunities, build pipelines, and support Account Managers in converting opportunities into profitable growth.

What You Will Need To Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Technology/Science, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the flavor industry.
  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience in FMCG, flavor, or chemical/ingredients within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Experience with beverage, savory, snacks, sweets, and/or dairy industries.
  • Existing flavor knowledge and expertise.
  • Strong project management, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent networking and negotiation skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence.
  • Highly collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with attention to detail.
