Fintech Risk Management & Credit Analyst Supervisor/ Manager

We are seeking a hands-on, independent, and proactive Risk Management & Credit Analyst Supervisor/Manager to be part of our pre-opening fintech team. This is a solo contributor role, ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is ready to build risk management frameworks from scratch, handle end-to-end credit and operational risk processes, and support regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and implement the company’s initial risk management and credit analysis frameworks.

Identify, assess, and monitor operational and credit risks across the business lifecycle.

Respond directly to regulatory bodies and prepare required documentation, reports, and audit materials.

Set up and manage risk registers, SOPs, internal controls, and compliance checks from the ground up.

Conduct risk evaluations for new products, services, and third-party engagements.

Work closely with the founders and core team to integrate risk and credit principles into business planning.

Provide sharp, data-driven analysis to guide key decisions related to credit, operations, and partnerships.

Deliver clear, concise, and proactive risk communication to internal and external stakeholders.

Actively contribute to company growth while ensuring compliance with relevant OJK and POJK regulations.

Willing to be mobile and on-call as needed, including working on Saturdays (half day).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in operational risk, credit analysis, or compliance, ideally in fintech, banking, or insurance.

Proven track record of working independently or in a lean team, preferably in a startup or pre-opening setting.

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make practical risk recommendations.

Experience dealing with regulators, audits, and compliance reports is essential.

Excellent coordination and communication skills; able to work cross-functionally with limited resources.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

High level of ownership, initiative, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
