Job summary

MAKMUR is building a small but high performing product team in Indonesia. The role focuses on owning roadmaps, running quarterly discovery with users, and turning insights into PRDs for Engineering and Design to execute.

You will groom the backlog, justify choices, and collaborate with business and operations to ensure success beyond release. This position requires 3-5 years in product management, data-driven decision making with SQL/BI, and comfort with investment product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years in product management.
• Experience bringing a consumer product to market.
• Comfortable self-serving data - SQL or a BI tool - and able to define your own success metrics and the tracking behind them.
• Working knowledge of investment products, or clear evidence you can learn them quickly. Familiarity with OJK and IDX basics is a plus.
• Able to walk through a decision you made, the options you rejected, and why.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap assigned to you. We agree the direction together; how you get there is yours.
• Prioritise against that metric every quarter, and be able to say what you chose to drop.
• Run discovery with users alongside Design, and bring options with the reasoning behind the one you picked.
• Write PRDs that Engineering and Design can build from without guessing, covering edge cases and error states, then see them through to launch.
• Groom the backlog before sprint planning, every time, and hold your own in technical discussions with engineering.
• Support go-to-market with business and operations stakeholders, and own the outcome past release.
