Job summary

Amartha is seeking an Accounting Analyst to manage financial records, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closings. You will ensure compliance with PSAK/IFRS and company policies, prepare financial reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain data accuracy while driving improvements in accounting processes.

The role emphasizes loan/revenue accounting, daily reconciliation, and audit support within a fintech lending context.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in financial services (P2P lending, multifinance, banking, leasing, or fintech).
• Strong PSAK/IFRS knowledge, especially with financial instruments, revenue recognition, accruals, and impairment/ECL.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing activities and prepare journal entries, accruals, amortization, reclass, and adjustments.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and P&L analysis; ensure timely financial statements.
• Reconcile loan system data with GL, bank statements, and reports; review revenue recognition accuracy.
• Support ECL calculation, loan impairment booking, write-off, and related entries; coordinate with risk/data teams.
• Prepare audit schedules and documentation for external auditors; support regulatory reporting.
• Identify gaps and contribute to process improvements in closing, reconciliation templates, and SOPs.
