Canopy is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to manage data accuracy, integrity, and security for financial and investment data. You will provide reliable reporting to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows.

The role requires strong Excel, with Python/SQL as a bonus, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. You will work on data reconciliation, tool development, and process improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills; Python and SQL are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with financial instruments across asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data extraction and aggregation accuracy for complex investment portfolio data.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies and errors across balances.
• Reconcile trading history and end-of-day holdings data; address account discrepancies.
• Escalate aging exceptions and review reconciliation output timely.
• Collaborate with Sales, Client Success & Product teams to address data questions and improve processes.
• Provide training and support on data-related processes and systems.
