Providing performance evaluations and employee supervision in the department.
Proposing and controlling the operational budget in accordance with their department.
Supervising invoice payments to vendors, ensuring timely payments and maintaining record accuracy.
Managing payment collections from customers, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining accurate customer records.
Developing and monitoring budgets, as well as forecasting future financial performance.
Implementing and maintaining internal controls to protect assets and prevent fraud.
Updating information about the latest changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure company compliance.
Supervising and maintaining accurate and complete financial records, analyzing financial data, providing insights to support informed decision-making, and helping the organization achieve its financial goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
Proven experience as a Financial Controller.
Experience in managing a finance team.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP, IFRS).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strategic thinking and business acumen.
Occasional travel may be required for meetings, audits, and training.
