Hiring Now: Senior Finance Business Partner – Global Marketing and Product
Purpose
Provide strong financial advice and commercial decision-making support, partnering with stakeholders to achieve the brand's strategic objectives. This role is based onsite at our South Bank, QLD HQ.
Commercial Acumen
- Work closely with operational leaders to challenge decisions and drive better commercial outcomes.
- Partner with operational leaders to analyze past performance and future trends, identifying new opportunities or enhancing current performance.
- Manage cost control policies and oversee related financial deployments and enhancements.
Financial Reporting & Review
- Provide monthly performance reports and value-added analysis to support informed decision-making, including:
- Results, variance analysis, and weekly trading updates.
- Reviews and recommendations on shop network efficiencies and cost savings.
- Performance-based reporting by role type (Novice, Consultant, Team Leader) with recommendations.
- Promote continuous improvement in reporting processes to align with business needs and objectives.
Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with the Operations Leader to develop and review P&L forecasts aligned with operational targets and global strategy.
- Work with the Finance SWOT team to maintain brand balance sheet and cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate with the Financial Controller to ensure adequate financial controls and accurate, timely reporting.
- Engage with risk management teams to ensure internal controls support organizational objectives.
Leadership and Culture
- Motivate, inspire, and develop team members.
- Manage and foster internal relationships.
- Influence decisions to support overall business strategy.
- Align with and embrace the FCTG culture and philosophies.
Experience
- Experience leading a finance team.
- High level of commercial acumen.
- 8+ years in a similar role.
- CA/CPA qualification or relevant postgraduate qualification.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced experience with financial systems (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
- Salary range: $120k-$160k plus superannuation, based on experience.
- Some global commitments may require attending virtual meetings outside regular hours.
