Job summary

FOOM LAB GLOBAL, based in Jakarta, seeks a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead Finance, Accounting & Tax. You will work directly with the CEO to shape FOOM's growth, test financial assumptions, and drive profitability and working capital improvements.

You will develop the team, strengthen closing, reporting, and controls, manage excise matters, and ensure compliance across domestic and cross-border activities as the business scales in Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications preferred.
• 12+ years in finance, accounting, or tax with at least 4 years in senior roles.
• Experience with excise matters and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Proven ability to develop financial plans and cash flow forecasts.
• Experience leading accounting, tax, and financial control functions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial targets set by management.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, connecting financial plans with cross-functional teams at group level.
• Advise the CEO on investment opportunities, uniting strategic and financial planning.
• Manage cash flow and working capital, with oversight of receivables, payables, and cash needs.
• Lead month-end closing and deliver accurate financial statements and reports.
• Oversee corporate tax and excise calculations, filings, and payments with documentation.
• Assess impact of excise rate changes on pricing and margins.
• Strengthen internal controls and audit readiness across accounting and tax.
• Oversee cross-border financial transactions and reporting as needed.
• Develop the finance team and provide analysis to the CEO and governance bodies.
• Provide regular business and financial performance reports to management.
