A leading retail company in Jakarta seeks a Finance & Tax Admin to support their Tax Section. Responsibilities include tax documentation, filing, and VAT administration. Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Tax or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience. Knowledge of DJP software and attention to detail are essential for this role.

We are currently embarking on our next stage of aggressive expansion which includes entry into additional markets within the region of South East Asia. We expect to quickly grow to >1,000 stores across the region and then potentially look at listing options.
We are looking for an Finance & Tax admin to be based in our Jakarta to support the Tax Section. You shall report to the Indonesia Tax Lead who is based in Jakarta.
Responsibilities include:
Finance & Tax Admin.
1. 1. Tax Documentation & Filing
Prepare, organize, and archive tax documentation (e.g., invoices, tax slips, tax returns) in physical and electronic format.
Assist in preparing and submitting monthly and annual tax returns such as PPh 21, 23, 4(2), PPh Badan, and VAT (PPN) using e-SPT and DJP Online.
Issue e-Bupot and ensure timely distribution of withholding tax slips to vendors.
2. Local Tax Administration
Assist in registering NPWPD (Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak Daerah) and NOPD (Nomor Objek Pajak Daerah) for new stores with the local tax authority (Bapenda/Dinas Pajak Daerah).
Assist in preparing signage tax (pajak reklame) requirements for all stores, including extension of expired permits for existing stores and registration of new signage for newly opened stores.
Liaise with relevant government departments for application submissions and document requirements.
3. PB-1 (Hotel, Restaurant & Entertainment Tax) Reporting
Collect, compile, and prepare PB-1 reports monthly for submission to the relevant local government authority.
Create billing codes through local e-billing systems (e.g., e-BPHTB, e-SPTPD, or e-PBB depending on jurisdiction).
Ensure timely payment of PB-1 taxes to avoid penalties.
4. VAT & Withholding Tax (WHT) Administration
Upload and validate VAT invoices (e-Faktur) and ensure reconciliation between input and output tax.
Monitor and prepare reports for withholding tax (PPh 23, 4(2), 21) and assist with e-Bupot issuance and submission.
5. Internal Coordination
Coordinate with other departments (store operations, procurement, accounting) to ensure tax documentation is complete and accurate.
Follow up with vendors and authorities for missing or incorrect tax documents (e.g., NPWP, faktur pajak).
6. Administration
Filing all documents related to the tax
Scan all finance document and file the documents properly
Required Skills:
Bachelor degree in Tax, or Master Degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance or related field.
Minimum 1-year experience in similar position.
Experience in retail F&B is a plus.
Good Understand software from Tax Authorities (Core Tax & DJP).
Able to speak, write, read, and listen in English.
Attention to detail and analytical skill.
Hold Tax Brevet Certificate A, B, and C will be a plus.
Having knowledge of SAP system is an added advantage.
