Job description

About the role

This is a temporary 6-month position based in Tangerang Banten, supporting PT L&E International Indonesia, a company operating in the Packaging industry. As a Finance Staff (Maternity Replacement), you will play a key role in the company's financial operations, contributing to its overall success.

What you'll be doing

  1. Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules on the JDE Software System; provide monthly detail to the Senior Accountant for General Journal entries; ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals.
  2. Maintain Purchase Order Processing system.
  3. Maintain Prepaid account & accrual.
  4. Process Accounts Payable paperwork at completion of the check run.
  5. Prepare mailings and priority shipments for the Finance/Accounting Department.
  6. Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department.
  7. Prepare correspondence as needed within the department.
  8. Manage petty cash account.
  9. Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time – often on short notice - by the Financial Controller.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  2. Coursework in job costing is recommended.
  3. Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness.
  4. Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
  5. Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications.
  6. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  7. Having brevet A & B is preferred.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
