Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or taxation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Chinese speaking ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Issue customer invoices and tax invoices (e-Faktur) and coordinate document delivery to customers.
• Monitor payments and accounts receivable; follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Prepare supplier payment invoices and record payment transactions in banking system.
• Record financial transactions and post to correct accounts in accounting system.
• Maintain and record petty cash transactions.
• Prepare monthly closing adjusting entries.
• Calculate taxes, prepare tax calculation sheets, and verify before payments.
• Handle income tax calculations and SPT filings as applicable.
• Prepare e-Bupot 21 and e-Bupot Unifikasi; manage Coretax tax administration.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax laws, rates and filing regulations.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Specialist. The ideal candidate has experience in finance, accounting, or taxation, along with strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue customer invoices and tax invoices (e-Faktur), and coordinate the delivery of relevant documents to customers.
• Monitor customer payments and accounts receivable (A/R), apply payments to the appropriate accounts, and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collection.
• Prepare supplier payment invoices and record payment transactions in the banking system for processing.
• Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system and ensure they are posted to the correct accounts.
• Maintain and record petty cash transactions.
• Prepare monthly closing adjusting entries.
• Calculate taxes, prepare tax calculation sheets, and complete tax verification before processing tax payments.
• Handle income tax calculations and annual or periodic tax return (SPT) filings, as applicable.
• Prepare e-Bupot 21 and e-Bupot Unifikasi, and manage relevant tax administration through the Coretax system.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indonesian accounting standards, tax laws, tax rates, and filing regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or taxation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia (Chinese speaking ability is a plus)
• Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and the Indonesian Coretax system.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian taxation, including tax calculations, tax invoice administration, and tax return filing.
