The Finance Recon Analyst will be responsible for executing the back-end reconciliation process and ensuring that cross-checking existing data and pre-matching between bank and internal reporting are performed. As a Finance and Reconciliation Specialist, you will be responsible for reporting and documentation related to Escrow Account and will be able to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

What your current role should be like?

  • Finance Operations Expertise: Hands-on experience in reconciliation processes, managing discrepancies, and ensuring accurate reporting, ideally in dynamic, fast-paced environments like startups.
  • Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Skilled in resolving disputes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks or partners.
  • Data Reporting & Analysis: Proficient in simplifying complex financial data and delivering actionable insights. Experience with regulatory reports or dashboards is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of MS Excel, intersystem reconciliation, and familiarity with finance-related tools or software.
  • Proactive & Strategic: Adaptable with a solution-oriented mindset, balancing execution and strategic planning in a challenging environment.

What will you do?

In this role, you will execute the back-end reconciliation process while ensuring that:

  • Cross-checking existing data and pre-matching between bank and internal reporting.
  • Responsible for reporting and documentation as needed by the Finance Team related to Escrow Account.
  • Able to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • In the case of any dispute amount, involved in the investigation, and collaborate with related partners and stakeholders.
  • Manage complaints and disputes and close the issues accurately in a timely manner; Interact and interface with various involved parties and entities to ensure the same.
  • Involve appropriate internal teams to efficiently and effectively handle the complaints/disputes related to the transactions.
  • Play an integral role in showcasing Indepay as a consumer-friendly organization and best service provider.
  • Provide insight to management on the offerings through publishing dashboard of the queries and complaints periodically.
  • Performing independent controls on regulatory reports, Additional controls.
  • Expertise in performing processes, Basic excel skills.
  • Intersystem Reconciliation, Breaks Resolution, Running of Controls, ensuring KPIs are met for the process
  • Ensure highest standards of customer communication & services.
  • Continuously update yourself with new products and services that are rolled out.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Economy/Management or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance and Reconciliation.
  • Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be comfortable working in an early stage to growth stage company and should be able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Have a proven track record of success in previous roles and have worked in a similar setting, such as a Pre series A-B company will be a plus.
  • A leader who takes fun in taking risks and understands that taking calculated risks is necessary for growth. They should have the ability to balance risk-taking with sound decision-making to build something innovative and groundbreaking.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, good understanding and judgment under limited supervision and under pressure situations.

  • Possess a conscientious and meticulous work ethic, have ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
