Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Finance Officer to manage payroll operations and ensure statutory compliance in accordance with Indonesian labor and tax regulations. This role requires hands-on experience in payroll systems, employee compensation, and statutory filings. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and capable of handling payroll for 200+ employees accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Process monthly payroll for 200+ employees using payroll software, ensuring accurate salary calculation, statutory deductions, and timely payments.
- Manage and maintain BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Manpower) and BPJS Kesehatan (Health) registration, resignation, and monthly submission processes.
- Perform income tax (PPh 21) calculations and ensure all payroll-related taxes are reported and paid on time.
- Monitor and manage employee attendance, timesheets, and leave records.
- Administer and track PKWT (Fixed-Term Employment Contracts) to ensure proper documentation and renewals.
- Handle THR (Religious Holiday Allowance) calculation and payment according to legal requirements.
- Prepare and execute manual and automated bank transactions for payroll disbursements.
- Generate and deliver payroll summaries to the finance/payment team for fund release.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive payroll reports and statutory reports to relevant internal and external parties.
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure payroll accuracy and timely issue resolution.
- Stay updated with Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and best practices related to payroll and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience managing payroll for 200 or more employees.
- Proficient in using payroll and HRIS software.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor regulations, BPJS, and tax laws.
- Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal (mandatory).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.
